Magnus Capital Partners Expands West Michigan Footprint as HōM Flats at 24 East Welcomes First Residents and 28 West Phase 3 Breaks Ground
$78 million Wyoming development advances City Center vision while Holland’s newest HōM Flats community opens its doors
Holland, Michigan – October 10, 2025 – Magnus Capital Partners, a West Michigan-based real estate development firm known for its award-winning HōM Flats brand, is celebrating two major milestones in the region: the opening of HōM Flats at 24 East in Holland and the start of construction on the $78 million HōM Flats at 28 West Phase 3 in Wyoming.
Together, these projects mark a significant expansion of Magnus’s innovative workforce housing platform, which blends affordability, high-quality design, and community engagement across Michigan.
HōM Flats at 24 East Now Welcoming Residents
Located along East 24th Street in Holland, HōM Flats at 24 East is a 202-unit mixed-use community featuring thoughtfully designed apartments, on-site childcare through Grō Childcare Academy, and retail space reserved for locally owned businesses. Grō Childcare Academy will offer over 100+ childcare spaces available to residents and community members starting in 2026. Residents began moving in this fall, marking another milestone in Magnus’s mission to create attainable, high-quality homes for working families.
Amenities at HōM Flats at 24 East will include:
Modern apartments with open floor plans, kitchen islands, and full-size washers and dryers
Secured key fob building access and elevator service
Fitness studio
Co-working lounge and café
Indoor and outdoor children’s play areas
Pickleball court and walking paths
Dog park with pet-washing stations
Rooftop terrace and community game room
Secure package delivery area and indoor bike storage
On-site childcare center and retail suites reserved for local small businesses
The Holland development builds upon the success of HōM Flats at Felch Street, which earned the 2023 CoStar Impact Award for “Multifamily Development of the Year – West Michigan Region.”
28 West Phase 3: A Landmark for Wyoming’s City Center
Further north along the 28th Street corridor, Magnus is advancing Phase 3 of HōM Flats at 28 West, the largest and most ambitious component of the Wyoming City Center revitalization plan. The $78 million mixed-use project will add 200 total apartments and on-site childcare through Grō Childcare Academy. Magnus worked in close collaboration with Rohde Construction and the City of Wyoming to introduce a new five-story building type, a first for the corridor. While not a high-rise, the design will add new verticality to an otherwise flat landscape, redefining the city’s architectural identity.
Public-Private Partnerships and Community Activation
Both developments reinforce Magnus’s commitment to placemaking and inclusive growth. In Wyoming, the company continues to activate community spaces through Courtside by HōM Flats, a seasonal public plaza that hosts bi-weekly food truck nights from May through October and the annual Summer Market Fest supporting the Magnus Foundation.
