Event will Offer First Look at Consolidated Rental Car Facility

Grand Rapids, Michigan, March 11, 2026 – The Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority will unveil a monumental art project spanning four floors of its new Consolidated Rental Car Facility.

The artwork, Jerry’s Map by Jerry Gretzinger, is an iconic installation that includes a selection of 2,441 individual panels and captures the intricate, generative beauty of a city map, symbolizing how communities, people and journeys intersect.

 

Jerry’s Map stands at the center of the Airport’s new CONRAC facility, which is the first-of-its-kind in Michigan and will streamline ground transportation services for guests and travelers. CONRAC is part of Elevate, a more than $600 million investment into the Ford International Airport to improve the guest experience.

 

President and CEO Tory Richardson and artist Jerry Gretzinger will be available to answer questions after the program.
