Position Overview: 

The Shop and Field Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily roofing operations by managing warehouse inventory, fabricating metal trim, and ensuring field crews have the materials they need to stay productive throughout the day. This hands-on position works closely with project managers and foremen to coordinate deliveries, maintain an organized and efficient warehouse, and assist on job sites when additional support is needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both in the shop and the field to keep projects running smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Basic carpentry and construction knowledge.

• Trained and certified to safely operate forklifts in a warehouse setting is a plus. 

• Ability to lift 80#.

• Ability to perform tasks that require climbing, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (others may be assigned)

• Manage warehouse inventory by tracking, organizing, and replenishing materials and supplies to ensure all items are readily available for daily operations.

• Fabricate and bend metal trim to precise measurements and specifications to support metal roofing projects.

• Maintain job readiness by keeping field crews stocked with required materials, tools, and equipment throughout the day to minimize downtime.

• Assist with material deliveries to job sites, ensuring safe and timely transport of roofing materials.

• Support roofing crews on-site when needed, providing hands-on assistance for installation, cleanup, or project completion.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards and OSHA requirements.

• Coordinate with project managers and foremen to anticipate material needs and proactively prepare for upcoming jobs.

• Inspect tools and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and ensure safe operation.

• Load and unload shipments from vendors, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.

• Continuously improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in roofing is a plus.

• Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• OSHA 10, First Aid certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18-$25/hr
