JOB DESCRIPTION: PROGRAM MANAGER
EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full time, up to and not to exceed 40 hours/week; $20.00/hour; reports to the Executive Director or, in the absence thereof, to the Chair of the Board of Directors.
SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position provides management and oversight to the My House Ministry program, Life Skills Coordinators and residents, builds, and maintains relationships within the community and work one-on-one with residents as needed.
PROGRAM MANAGER DUTIES:
Write, develop, and expand the 18-month My House Ministry restorative program. Enhancing the program with curriculum-like programs and services. Designing a schedule of care for Life Skills Coordinators to ensure that all residents receive the same level of services and opportunities.
Develops a strong partnership with community mental health partners and serves as the referral manager for MHM residents to those outside support resources. Occasionally speak on behalf of MHM at these agencies.
Maintain and create relationships with agencies, churches, and partners in our community. Coordinate and facilitate volunteer opportunities at My House Ministry.
Maintain confidentiality of records in a timely and professional manner, and in accordance with MHM confidentiality policies.
Oversight of the MHM monthly resident house meetings. Schedule presenters, communicate with our church partners regarding space and childcare.
Maintain MARR certification standards (addiction recovery house)
Oversee and collaborate with the Life Skills Coordinators to establish goals, tools, and resources for each resident.
Responsible for training new Life Skills Coordinators. Occasional coverage for Life Skills Coordinators as needed.
- Documents case notes on each resident in a timely and professional manner, and in accordance with MHM confidentiality policies.
- Responsible for following proper medication protocols when distributing and locking-up resident medication.
- Performs and records random and routine drug and alcohol testing on residents in accordance with MHM policies.
- Performs and documents remedial actions as needed in accordance with MHM policies and procedures and MHM rules.
Will assist Life Skills Coordinators in creating and implementing Behavior Contracts with residents. Will facilitate conflict resolution conversations between residents and between residents and staff.
Will oversee medication distribution done by Life Skills Coordinators to make sure this is being handled according to MHM policy. Will verify medications are being dispensed on a weekly/semi-weekly basis.
Interview prospective MHM residents. Manage all communications related from interview to move-in.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Attend staff meetings and/or additional training as requested by the Board of Directors or Executive Director.
Assist Board of Directors and/or Executive Director with other MHM tasks as requested.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree, or equivalent work or life experience is required. Ideal areas of study include social work, psychology, education, and social service.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Experience working with underserved populations, victims of trauma, abuse and addiction and a strong ability to advocate for and provide support to women in crisis.
Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent communication and time management skills, including the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with strong and mature conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness.
Demonstrated faith in the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit, and a strong passion to live out these beliefs as God directs and share them to help women in need.
