Summary

The Food Club Associate, Mobile Market is responsible for operations of our Mobile Market, which brings healthy food access out into the community. The Food Club Associate, Mobile Market delivers high-quality customer experience, while also inventory management, stocking and merchandising of products, route scheduling, driving and delivery. Additionally, this role leads and collaborates with volunteers. Basic conversational Spanish would be beneficial. Responsibilities & Essential Duties

-  Executes on day-to-day operations of the Mobile Market.

-  Schedule monthly routes with established site partners and drive a 14-foot insulated box truck. 

-  Responsible for daily Market operations - including loading and setup, teardown and unloading, stocking and merchandising of products, and working with and managing the Point of Sale (PoS) system and technology systems of our business operations.

-  Work alongside and lead volunteers at Mobile Market stops.  

-  Ensure safe transportation and storage of food. 

-  Work independently to execute opening and closing procedures of the Food Club Mobile Market.

-  Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure adequate food inventory, supply storage and organization, and to generate and distribute promotional materials. 

-  Ensures a positive guest experience while demonstrating our values in action.

-  Other duties as assigned. 


Education & Experience

-  No prior experience required, although experience in community programming is preferred

-  High School Diploma required

-  Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain)

-  Valid chauffeur’s license (or ability to obtain)

-  ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)

-  Basic conversational Spanish proficiency desired


Qualifications

-  Proven ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently. 

-  Previous experience in direct community programming, with a particular focus on engaging low-income populations preferred. 

-  Familiarity in Google Workspace preferred or willingness to learn. 

-  Ability to use an Inventory and Point of Sale (POS) system preferred or willingness to learn. 

-  Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.

-  Willingness and interest in continuous learning and adaptation based on your professional interests and organizational needs.

-  A high standard of performance and integrity, and ability to lead by example to foster a positive workplace culture.

-  Proficiency in clear and effective written and verbal communication, and ability to develop trusting professional relationships.
