Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (7:30 AM - 9:00 AM) (EST)

Description

Featuring Guest Speaker, Dr. Paul Isely

When it comes to planning for the future, knowledge is power — and forecasts are the tools that turn uncertainty into opportunity. Economic forecasting draws insights from every corner of the economy to help businesses and communities make informed decisions about strategy, investment, and growth.

Join us as we welcome Dr. Paul Isely, economist and Associate Dean at Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business, for an in-depth look at the trends shaping our regional and state economy. Dr. Isely will break down the data, interpret the indicators, and share what it all means for West Michigan’s business landscape.

This year, Dr. Isely has gone a step further by crafting a custom survey for Ottawa County, designed to capture hyper-local insights and deliver a clearer, more actionable outlook for our lakeshore economy.

After this session, participants will be able too...

  • Identify key economic trends shaping West Michigan and the state in 2026.
  • Apply data-driven insights to guide business strategy and decision-making.
  • Prepare their organizations to adapt to changing market conditions.
