Support Local Students Through Stuff the Bus!

Back to school season is right around the corner, and we need your help to ensure local students have the supplies they need to start the school year on the right foot. Stuff the Bus is our annual school supply collection drive that helps to support students across Allegan, Kent, and Ottawa Counties. Not only do the students have access to supplies to start the school year, but teachers are able to stock their closets to support various needs throughout the school year. 

Our Stuff the Bus Collection Drive will run from July 27 – August 6. There are a couple of ways for businesses, organizations, and community members to get involved. Whether you host a collection drive for physical items, make a monetary gift, or collect items on your own, every item and dollar helps support students across Ottawa County.

On Thursday, August 6, our team will be at WZZM 13 in Grand Rapids from 7:00 am. – 7:00 pm, collecting physical items and highlighting the impact across all three of the counties we serve. Registered teams that collect 1,000 or more school supply items will be invited to share their impact during interviews throughout the broadcast.

For individual item donations, you can visit any Fifth Third branch to drop off. Locations will be accepting donations from July 27th-August 6th.
