Ready to give back to your community? Join the West Coast Chamber and Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance for an open-house that showcases local nonprofits that need your guidance and experience as a board or committee member. 

In the Summer of 2023, the West Coast Chamber, in partnership with the Lakeshore Leadership Council, collaborated to develop a community leadership and public service education and engagement platform to serve the lakeshore community. This West Coast Connect platform is designed to remove barriers and provide visibility to both opportunities to serve and leaders who are willing to volunteer.

West Coast Connect LIVE, formerly known as Community Connections, is a program that offers real-time engagements of the database. This event offers an opportunity for local nonprofits to feature the impactful services they provide and connect with young and seasoned professionals eager to learn about ways they can become more engaged in the Holland/Zeeland community. Attendees should come prepared to talk about long-term and short-term volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits including board and committee commitments, as well as, completing your profile in the West Coast Connect database.
